This site is devoted to recording photographic and text records of the ruined or deserted buildings of France.

It is now possible to upload photographs and descriptions of ruined or deserted buildings close to you. Some of these images and descriptions will find their way into a new book

"The Ruined Buildings of France" (working title) by Simon O'Corra, to be published late in 2009.

All of the pictures and written records lodged here will form the first national archive of French ruined and deserted buildings.
